Daniel Ortega
I'm a passionate storyteller and strategic communicator with over a decade of experience in marketing, public relations, event management and community engagement. I thrive on connecting people to brands through meaningful narratives and impactful campaigns. I especially enjoy working in destination marketing and building strong community relationships.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead talented teams, develop creative strategies, and foster partnerships that drive real engagement. I bring a mix of creativity, leadership, and strategic thinking to everything I do, whether it's shaping a brand identity, managing crisis communication, or helping an organization grow.
I was proud to be recognized as a Springfield Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree for my work in marketing innovation, leadership, and community impact. That recognition reflects the heart I put into both my work and the communities I serve.
Susan Haralson
Graduated from Ozark HS, then, College of the Ozarks with a Mass Media degree. Owns and operates Premier Home Health Care, inc over 32 years. Former investigative news reporter at KWTO radio and KSPR tv.
Is currently Chairman of the Board for the Ozark Chamber of Commerce and founding member and VP for Christian County 100 Club. Currently Rotary's Polio Plus Chair, former Rotary District Governor for SW MO, and is a member of Springfield Sunrise Rotary Club. Married to Shannon for 23 years, one son Ryan Mulcahy, who owns the Rogue Barber Co in Springfield and one 15 year old grandson, who is a freshman at Nixa HS
Lauren Cross
I own Lauren Cross Agency in Ozark and I am proud to support this amazing community. I opened the agency in 2020 and have lived in SW MO for 25 years. I cannot imagine calling anywhere else home. We provide a better insurance experience from trusted companies that have excellent customer service and claims handing. We have a home office in Springfield and specialize in coverage for your life, farm, home, business, vehicles, etc. My favorite part of our mission statement is to create opportunities that promote local business in the area. When I am not working with clients or attending local events, I love to be outdoors. I have also practiced Gracie jiu-jitsu for 11 years…ask me! I love to answer questions and I will try to recruit you. You will probably see me around town with my mini Aussie, Wyatt. Come say hi!

My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida, along with certifications as a Certified CFO Advisor, Certified Financial Coach, Certified Associate Digital Bookkeeping Professional, and QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor. Outside of work, I’m deeply involved in my church, love spending time with my family, exploring new places, and riding horses. I am incredibly grateful for the blessings in my life and strive to reflect those values in my work—helping others achieve success and fulfillment in their own business journeys.
Anna Torgerson O’Dell
There are 4 things that drive me: God, family, people, and community. Most things I do in life I make sure can fall into those 4 categories. I earned my degree in marketing and communication through the University of Missouri. After returning home I jumped into the world of Architecture, as the Director of Marketing for Torgerson Design Partners. I have learned many of the ins and outs of land development, commercial and residential design, real estate, and problem solving creative solutions to achieve your goals. As an Ozark native, I am passionate about helping grow the community, building lasting connections and relationships and desire that the Ozarks continue being a place many people are proud to call home.
Now, I am pairing all those skills with my love for real estate and people! The ability to have an impact and build relationships with an individual or family’s lives is what excites me the most about my career. I want to take the stress of buying or selling a residential property or commercial space off of my clients and make sure their transaction is seamless. Life is too short!
