A charity fundraiser to provide scholarships for veterans and graduating High School seniors. The event is a chili-cook off competition including entries from: the Ozark Fire Protection District, Sheriff's Office, Ozark Police Department, Christian County Prosecutor's Office, Ozark High School JROTC Booster Club, Honor Flight of the Ozarks, City of Ozark Public Works Department and the VFW.
Ozark Mayor, Don Currence will be on hand to award the trophy to the winner. This is a great opportunity to support your local VFW, veterans seeking scholarships, and to cheer on your favorite chili contestants. Your $12 admission gets you all-you-can-eat chili, a soft drink, dessert, and one voting token to use to vote for your favorite chili.
You can also buy raffle tickets to win some great prizes. Additional voting tokens will be for sale. I encourage to vote more than once! Not only is event going to be fun, but a great way to show support for some community heroes and to say thank you to the veterans at the VFW.
The Chilipalooza starts at 5:30 pm on March 20th. Voting will conclude at 6:45 and the winner will be announced at 7:00. Chilipalooza will be held at the VFW Hall, 104 S. 1st Street, Ozark, MO. Only 100 will be sold. Get yours now. You can buy tickets at the door or pre-purchase tickets at: https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets/vfw7628/2nd-annual-vfw-chilipalooza
