Business owners, job seekers, Veterans and Families of Veterans are all invited to attend the THIS Thursday July 8 (10am-2pm) Veteran Hiring Fair, Resource Event, and American Legion Open House for the Goad-Ballinger Post 69 and the Women Veterans of SWMO American Legion Post 1214!

- The event is being held onboard Post 69 at 149 Memorial Plaza in Springfield MO. (Behind the Shrine Mosque downtown).
- There will be 33 employers from a wide variety of industries ready to meet with Veterans and civilians in the job market!
- Veterans and Military Spouses can also meet with several Veteran Resources including the VA/HUD Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing, The Kitchen Inc’s Veteran’s Home At Last program, The Springfield Vet Center, The Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development Disabled Veteran Outreach Program, and Veterans Upward Bound.
- The Missouri Job Center Business Services team will be available for workforce questions.
- The General Public is welcome to come and meet with volunteers to learn about all the good that the American Legion is doing for our community and how you can get involved!
