Who's ready to build their network while making a difference??!
The Ozark Chamber, with your participation and engagement, is spearheading a county-wide under-40 program.
We hope to turn young professionals networking on its head by offering a 6-month TED talk-style format with built-in days for giving back to the greater community. #ChristianCountyCares
How will we accomplish this? With your enrollment!
We're looking for an inaugural class of involved, thoughtful individuals who hope to both learn about and give back to their region. If you are or know of someone, between the ages of 21 and 40, who lives or works in Christian County and wants to explore all that the county has to offer while making a difference in the lives of other local residents, please simply email your/their name and contact information to info@ozarkchamber.com.
Participants could be anyone from a rising-star young professional or small business owner to stay-at-home parents who regularly volunteer at school or church, anyone looking for a fresh way to gain connection within their community.
There's no fee to apply and we're asking only for a $100 investment per participant for the full 6-month program.
What is #ChristianCountyCares?
A program designed to connect individuals within the program, and area businesses to those in our community who need a helping hand. Requests for assistance or nominations will be received for 2 months leading up to each Day of Caring. We'll attempt to find local business sponsors for as many projects as possible (think yardwork, small jobs around the home, repainting a storefront, 2 hours spent at a local charity bagging food, etc.) and then break up into groups, hitting as many projects as possible, big and small, within that workday. As a participant, you will be asked only to commit to a 2-hour timeslot.

March 22nd: TED talk-style breakfast event (breakfast provided)
April 26th: TED talk-style breakfast event (breakfast provided)
May 24th: TED talk-style breakfast event (breakfast provided)
June 28th: TED talk-style breakfast event (breakfast provided)
July 26th: #ChristianCountyCares Day of Caring
August 24th: Graduation and Awards
