Tons of Trucks
Saturday, August 7 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the boat dock in the Finley River Park the Parks Department will again host Tons of Trucks. Bring your little one down to explore a fire truck, a police car, an eighteen wheeler, or maybe a backhoe. You can sit in the driver's seat or just step back and take a look, either way this event is free to the public so be sure to come out and enjoy it. VOTING DAY FOR PRIMARY ELECTIONS & 5 PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO STATE CONSTITUTION!
The Missouri August Primary Election is Upon Us!
Make your choices for future County Auditor, Christian County Presiding Commissioner, and Associate Circuit Judge Division II.
There are 5 proposed state constitutional amendments (#1, 5, 7, 8 & 9) for citizens to decide on the fate of matters relating to local farming and ranching-including domestic animals and pets, gun ownership, a temporary sales tax increase for funding road and bridge repair, Veteran Services, and individual electronic privacy rights, respectively.

The 3rd Annual Greg Tope Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, August 18th, 2014 at Fremont Hills Country Club.
This tournament, Hosted by Sertoma and Presented by Tope Insurance, benefits the Christian County Family Crisis Center (Freedom's Rest).
