  Join us in April for First Friday Coffee!  This is a come and go event so stop in and say hello to your fellow Ozark Chamber of Commerce members and meet some of our Community Leaders.   This month's event is being hosted by Walmart of Ozark and will feature scrumptious bakery treats and the Java of your choice. (Leaded or Unleaded)  
      They will have a raffle for a gift card and share some of the latest news about charitable endeavors of this corporation.   (Grants, Scholarships, etc)

This is a three-hour class for kids ages 9 - 13 years of age that teaches simple first aid, safety, emergency procedures, and babysitting tips for children who are home alone or babysitting younger children for short periods of time. 
Topics covered will include:  entering and leaving the house, basic first aid, personal safety, storm safety, fire safety, answering the door and phone, simple snacks to prepare, and appropriate activities.
* Snacks will be provided.
* Students will receive a completion certificate.
* Pre-registration is required.

Cost:  $25/child - Non-Member
          $20/child - Annual OC Member
 

 

The Christian County Library Foundation will hold its first fundraiser, a family-friendly bluegrass concert performed by the group Casey and the Atta Boys. It’s Saturday, April 5th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Clever Performing Arts Center in Clever High School. Admission to the event is free, with sponsorship by the Greater Ozarks Bluegrass Society, Lynn Morris, and Family Pharmacy, All donations collected will go towards the building fund to expand library facilities in Christian County.

 Mandy's House is a project of Save-A-Life Ministries, Inc.  the goal is to provide a safe home for teen Moms and their babies in order that they may graduate high school and not be homeless due to lack of financial support, or abuse. Mandy's House will provide financial, physical, nutritional, educational, emotional, and spiritual support, along with hope for their future.
