A Charmed Life
Freedom’s Rest Presents the First Annual
“Charmed Life” silent auction and wine tasting event!
The event will benefit the survivors of domestic violence residing at the shelter and participating in our outreach program. Although the survivor may not seem to be living a life of guaranteed good fortune or invulnerability, they are living a charmed life…they are free. Free from the violence they had been subjected to, free from the judgment and questioning stares of others, and free to discover and be themselves.
The silent auction will consist of items donated by the amazing local agencies that support Freedom’s Rest. Heather Hills Farms is providing wine for your tasting, and Randy Mitchum, Mitchum Jewelers, has designed a special charm and bracelet that will be available for purchase. All proceeds will directly benefit the Freedom’s Rest.
Faces that have charmed us the most escape us the soonest.
