Dec 4 WORKING OZARK WOMEN LUNCHEON MEETING & TEEN GIFT DRIVE
   Join us for Working Ozark Women on Thursday December 4th!   
***If you have not adopted a family for Christmas through Least of These,  and want to help bring some joy to a child, please bring an unwrapped gift or an individual gift certificate suitable for one or more of Christian County's many teens and t'weens who are in need of some attention this year from Santa.  **** Call 827-7178 for more info on how you can help make a difference to those in need.
    For this Working Ozark Women's Luncheon we will be having our annual "Ornament Exchange" !  Bring your store-bought or homemade ornament to trade and be ready to talk about your holiday highlights of the season.  Our program will include an interactive networking exercise facilitated by Bobbi Wixson, the esteemed gatekeeper of the Historic Downtown Square in Ozark and owner of Hazel's Flowers.  
    This monthly ladies luncheon is open to all Working Ozark Women, our group is made up of business owners, community leaders, retirees, seniors, teachers, domestic engineers, and home based beauty and health product specialists.  Bring a coworker for this fun holiday-themed lunch and meet some new friends.

Dec 16 Ribbon Cutting for Holden Funeral Service
   Join us as we welcome Holden Funeral Service into the Ozark Chamber of Commerce. A newly established locally owned and operated business, they have opened their doors with  many years of experience behind them in providing compassionate care for families who have suffered the loss of a loved one.    
    Come celebrate with these local entrepreneurs and share in a ribbon cutting ceremony.  They will serve light refreshments and hold a prize drawing for guests to win a gift basket of goodies from local retailers.

Dec 18 "Good Afternoon Ozark" Monthly Membership Luncheon

    Join us for our holiday "Good Afternoon Ozark" in December and celebrate the season with some fun and festivity with your fellow Chamber Members!  Remember this month's lunch is on the 3rd Thursday - December 18th.   
 
     Our topic for business will be an interactive "Strategic Planning Tic Tac Toe." This workshop is designed to provide small business owners and managers with a simple tool to help you develop a strategic plan for your business. A template will be provided to help you create an easy visual strategic plan to measure and layout a course of action for a specific part of your business. This will be a great session to help kick-start your 2015 planning! Presented by Chrystal Irons, Business Development Specialist, County Program Director, University of Missouri Extension.

The Ozark United Methodist Church will host the Longest Night Service on Sunday, December 21, at 7:00 p.m. This quiet worship service is designed for those who grieve, mourn, or struggle. It will include Scripture, music, silent reflection, and healing prayer for those whom this holiday season can be anything but bright and joyful, a time to remind us that God's Word comes to shine light in our darkness.
