Murder Mystery Event

Today a new genre of Murder Mystery Games is emerging: Interactive Murder Mystery Events. No longer are the participants silent observers watching actors portray the events, now just solving the murder isn't even the sole purpose of the event. This new generation of murder mystery events have many subplots to create much intrigue and mayhem. Guests will have their own nefarious agendas. Parts are not scripted, nor are there any actors. All parts are played out by the guests themselves. This creates a dynamic ever changing and unique one of a kind event every time. Prior to arriving at the venue, characters receive detailed backgrounds, which describe their fictional relationships with other characters at the party. They also have secrets of their own, which may have nothing to do with the murder that occurs. Participants come in costume and take on their characters persona. During the event, participants learn certain details of the crime through evidence, eavesdropping, and questioning other characters. Certain props are included, such as play money, which can be used for buying information, blackmailing, and other devious schemes. All of this leads to extensive social interaction, which is the real point of the event. During our murder mystery events the guests can get so caught up in their own schemes that they may even forget to investigate the murder! Each murder mystery event has its own theme with unique locations and time periods. Our facility has many different themed areas that lend to the atmosphere of the event.
