Join us for a very special celebration of this wonderful family and community hometown tradition:  Ozark's Annual Christmas Parade!
Held the Weekend before Thanksgiving every year,  our 2014 Parade falls on Saturday, November 22nd and starts at 5:00 pm. Our theme is:
“50 Years of Christmas Cheer!"   

Parade categories include: Religious Float, Commercial Float, General Entry Float, Marching Band,
Individual Entry, Automotive Entry, Pet Entry, Equine Entry and Other.

 

First, Second and Third place will be awarded in all three float entry categories.  Parade Entry forms can be downloaded from the Ozark Chamber of Commerce website, or call us at 417 581 6139, or email our staff at info@OzarkChamber.com, or visit us at 1471 W. South St in Ozark!

Completed Parade entry forms & $30 registration fee due to the Ozark Chamber by Friday November 14th -The Chamber is open 8:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.  A mandatory safety brief will be held on November 7th at 12:00 pm and repeated at 5:30 pm for Float Entries - at least one representative from each float entry must attend.  
 

We have partnered with the Christian County Children's Charities Sertoma Club (4C Sertoma) to bring you a new event this year!  Sign up to sponsor and participate in the first ever 
 "Jingle Bell Jog Costumed Fun Run!"
This is NOT a 5K and NOT timed, all ages welcome.   Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:  Best Christmas Costume, Ugliest Christmas Sweater, Best Use of Lights, and Best Group Costume (3 or more) !   Hosted by the CCCC Sertoma Club and sponsored by Dennis Hanks Chevrolet.    Additional Corporate Sponsorships now available to businesses - you can be an Elf and Reindeer Sponsor for this highly anticipated community event!

   You may turn in Parade Entry fee and forms to the Ozark Chamber of Commerce 1471 W. South St.  in Ozark by the EXTENDED November 14th deadline. 

For Parade Participants: U.S. Automotive will be where you enter to line up and our "Parade Command Post"  at 1700 W. Jackson St (SE Corner Hwy 65 /Jackson in Ozark MO.  Volunteers will guide you to your position from there. Actual line up will remain the same at Hwy 65 and Jackson behind the blue SLS Building (the former FASCO building). 

For Spectators:  Parade Begins at 5:00 pm this year and will be preceded by the Jingle Bell Jog!
         Route begins at Ozark Bank and proceeds down Jackson Avenue to 3rd Street and turns onto the Historic Ozark Square at Church St. to complete a loop and return to 3rd Street.

Fees/Admission:

Parade registration cost is $30 per entry with the exception of school teams and marching bands who are invited at no charge to participate.  Parade entry may be individual, business, organization, or other group.
